This too shall pass - Never Quit..

Our lives are not only our own. They also belong to those who surround us. We should take care of ourselves because we are important to others.
The most valuable thing that we all are gifted with is "Life." Sometimes we feel sick and tired of our life and a sense of negativity starts occupying our mind when each and everything surrounding us starts pulling us down. You may feel as if all the doors are closed, you are chocked up somewhere with no way, no clue and no hope to come out of that phase of life.
Then a point comes where you feel you just had enough of everything and due to frustration and anger you start fighting for what you want in a wrong way which actually worsens up the situation and makes you feel more fatigued with your life and you end up taking a drastic step to quit this world.
This is that point of life where you are tired of getting up everytime you fall and an overpowering negativity leaves a permanent impression in your mind which makes you fell you will never be able to win. A time comes when you stop fighting and decide to quit the world to achieve peace.
Here I would like to share a beautiful story which will make you realize quitting is an option where you will end your life without knowing the actual result that were to show up.
One day, a man decided to quit his life. He had faced huge loss in business, faced many emotional ups and downs with his family and he felt even the God is paying deaf ears to his prayers. Before quitting his life he just wanted to have a last conversation with the God.
The man prayed for one last time and said to God "Why did you do this to me? Can you give me one good reason for not quitting?  I know this is wrong but I can't handle this anymore."
Suddenly the man heard a voice, the voice was none other than that of God. God said - "My Child, before quitting I want you to visit a forest nearby." The man was surprised at this, but he left to forest without uttering one single word. Once the man reached the forest God asked him to look around. The man looked around the forest totally puzzled.
He saw fern and bamboo covering the forest. God said - "Do you see the fern and the bamboo? It's me who planted the seeds of both fern and bamboo. I took good care of both the seeds by giving them same amount of light, water and air. But the fern grew very quickly from the earth. Within two years the fern grew vibrant and covered the whole forest with its greenary. Since two years nothing came from bamboo seed.
But I didn't quit on bamboo. Third and fourth year passed yet nothing came from bamboo. I kept patience but never thought of quitting on bamboo seed.
Then in the fifth year a small green sprout sprung up from the earth. Now comes the turning point i.e six months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
The bamboo had spent five years in growing its roots which gave it a strength to grow so tall withing six months.

Today you can see both fern and bamboo make the forest beautiful. My child you must understand one thing in your life.I would never give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle. I understand you are going through hardship but remember you are actually growing roots.
Don't compare yourself with others at this phase of life. Have patience, survive by growing your roots so that one day you will achieve unbelievable heights and satisfaction in your life.
Your time will come and you will rise too like the bamboo. The man left the forest with a new ray of hope. Sometimes the harder you fall, the stronger you rise.
Life is too ironic-
It takes sadness to know what happiness is, noise to appreciate silence and absence to value Presence.
You never lose, you either win or learn.
Making an effort to deal with problems can make us aware of how strong we really are. Life's challenges don't exist only to upset us—they exist so that we understand ourselves better and get to know who we really are.
Death is waiting for each of us anyway; why call on it before our time?

Restless Nights: The Lessons of Success and Failure

The Night of the Big Race Guhan had trained harder than ever for the annual school race. He was determined to win. But as he dashed toward the finish line, disaster struck—he tripped! His friend Manohar zoomed past him and won the race. That night, Guhan lay awake in bed, his heart heavy with disappointment. He kept thinking about the moment he fell, wondering if he could have done something differently. Sleep refused to come. But instead of giving up, Guhan decided to train even harder. He woke up the next morning with a new determination—he would try again next year. The following year, Guhan practiced tirelessly. When race day arrived, he ran like the wind, and this time, he didn’t stumble. He crossed the finish line first! That night, Guhan lay in bed, once again unable to sleep—but this time, it wasn’t sadness that kept him awake. It was pure excitement! He kept replaying the moment of victory in his head, imagining the gold medal around his neck. And now, he realized— He couldn...

A Coin of Compassion, A River of Blessings.

Once in a village, there lived a rich man who was kind and spiritual. One day, while walking on the road, he saw a beggar and felt sad. He asked God, “Why is life so unfair? Why must people suffer like this?” Feeling pity, the rich man gave the beggar his gold chain and bracelet and said, “Don’t beg again. Use this to start a better life.” The beggar was happy and planned to sell the gold and begin a small business. But on the way, two thieves stole the gold and ran away. The next day, the rich man saw the beggar begging again. Angry and confused, he asked why. The beggar explained about the theft. Feeling sorry, the rich man gave him a diamond ring and said, “This time, be careful.” The beggar hid the ring in an old mud pot at home, planning to sell it the next day. With the money, he hoped to buy a new, spacious house and start a good business to earn a living. That night, his wife took the pot to fetch water, not knowing the ring was inside. She washed the pot at the river, and the ...

The Morning That Changed Everything

In the peaceful hill town of Almora, there lived a cheerful man named Uncle Kabir. He had lost both his legs in a terrible accident many years ago. But every morning, Uncle Kabir would roll out in his wheelchair to the park near his house. He smiled at the birds, waved at the trees, and greeted every child going to school and every grown-up rushing to work. “Good morning! Have a great day!” he would say with a big smile. People loved seeing Uncle Kabir. His smile was like sunshine. Children would wave back, and even the busiest people would stop to smile and wish him well. It became a happy routine—no one wanted to start their day without seeing Uncle Kabir. Arjun lived in the same town, but joy never touched him. He worked long hours in a cold office, buried under loans and deadlines. His face stayed tense, his eyes dull. Life moved around him, but his own felt like a sea without waves—still, silent, and heavy. No tides of joy, no ripples of surprise. Just a flat, endless stretch of r...
