Obedience without Faith is possible, but not faith without Obedience.

At present we all are in the same boat continuously hearing about the new deadly Coronavirus which is spreading across the globe like a massive fire.
Many people have already lost their loved ones. While some have fought the virus and have returned back home safely. Government is doing its best to keep us safe and news channels are keeping us updated.
On top of all these the doctors, nurses, police, military force and cleaners of our country are working tirelessly and risking their lives to help us stay safe.
Now let's come towards the most important decision taken by the government i.e "Lockdown".
Let's try to understand what lockdown means. Lockdown means the people will not be allowed to enter any place or go out of their building freely due to an emergency. It is actually a security measure taken by the government to prevent the people from being infected by the deadly virus.

In such a scenario,we can find two types of people in our society i.e. Some follow the safety measures prescribed by the Government while Some behave as a very irresponsible citizen by going out and upon questioning of their disobedience they answer that "What is supposed to happen will happen" or "God is there to save us"

Let me share a very short story where a father teaches his Son to have faith on God & at the same time to behave in a very responsible manner-
In a village named Bilaspur, there lived a son and his father. They had one horse to earn their livelihood. They used to go from one place to another and give people and children ride for money.
One day, the son and the father passed a temple nearby and halted there to take the blessing of the God. The father asked his son to tie the horse and come inside the temple with him. Father was about to enter the temple when he saw that his son was entering with him without tying the horse. Father stopped his son and asked him the reason for not obeying his  order. The son replied quickly – "Dad, You have told many times that there is no need to fear because God is always there with us. Now we are actually outside a temple, then why to fear of losing our horse? Come dad, let’s go inside & God will take care of our horse"
Then the father again stopped his son and explained him softly – My dear son, now you must secure the horse by tying it somewhere nearby and then pray God for its safety. The horse is our livelihood so how can we be so careless by leaving it as it is on the road.  it's true that God is always there with us. He will also take care of us. He will never let anything bad happen to us. But before that we must try to understand that God will help only those who help themselves. First of all we must be a responsible person, value and safeguard the precious things and relations of our life.

Self-initiative must be given importance first before believing in God. We should be well prepared for the battle of our life and rest what happens in the battlefield must be left in the hands of the God.First you must do whatever can be done by you and only then we must seek the blessings of God for what you need..
I hope this story will be an eye opener to all those who believe in God..

I would like to share some precautionionary measure that you can take in this excruciating time to keep yourself and your beloved safe-
* Don't go out to exercise instead you can do some exercise at home itself. You can also switch to yoga which will help to boost your immune system.
* Don't go to visit your friends/relatives. Stay safe at home and let others be safe too.
* Follow a proper time-table.Don't disturb your eating and sleeping habits.
* Don't overeat as we you are at home you may tend to eat to beat the stress or boredom. Do avoid it and divert your mind to do the things that you love to.
* Do Meditation at least half an hour a day.
* Read books.
* You can donate money or food whatever you have to the needy person nearby if you are blessed with abundance in your life.
* Keep yourself and your surroundings clean.
* Avoid eating anything raw. Even Ayurveda suggests that cooked food breaks down easily in the stomach and the nutrients are absorbed by the body quickly.
* Keep yourself updated about the virus and the facilities available in case of emergency.
* Prepare yourself, check whether you have all the essentials and medicines and make it available from nearby stores so that there will be no need for you to panic when you need it.
* Simplify your life. Try to bifurcate between what you are actually in need of and what not.
* Spend quality time with your family, stay connected with  whoever you want to be with the help of mobile phones.

*Try to adjust with whatever you have in this difficult time.Don't fight with your family members for silly things.
*Learn to appreciate what you have - before time makes you appreciate what you had..

Stay Home.Stay Safe.

Attitudes are difficult to change & ultimately are the responsibility of each person.

Outcome is God's responsibility, Obedience is yours.

Let's stay united together, let's defeat this difficult time.

Thank you all for showing your support.

Restless Nights: The Lessons of Success and Failure

The Night of the Big Race Guhan had trained harder than ever for the annual school race. He was determined to win. But as he dashed toward the finish line, disaster struck—he tripped! His friend Manohar zoomed past him and won the race. That night, Guhan lay awake in bed, his heart heavy with disappointment. He kept thinking about the moment he fell, wondering if he could have done something differently. Sleep refused to come. But instead of giving up, Guhan decided to train even harder. He woke up the next morning with a new determination—he would try again next year. The following year, Guhan practiced tirelessly. When race day arrived, he ran like the wind, and this time, he didn’t stumble. He crossed the finish line first! That night, Guhan lay in bed, once again unable to sleep—but this time, it wasn’t sadness that kept him awake. It was pure excitement! He kept replaying the moment of victory in his head, imagining the gold medal around his neck. And now, he realized— He couldn...

A Coin of Compassion, A River of Blessings.

Once in a village, there lived a rich man who was kind and spiritual. One day, while walking on the road, he saw a beggar and felt sad. He asked God, “Why is life so unfair? Why must people suffer like this?” Feeling pity, the rich man gave the beggar his gold chain and bracelet and said, “Don’t beg again. Use this to start a better life.” The beggar was happy and planned to sell the gold and begin a small business. But on the way, two thieves stole the gold and ran away. The next day, the rich man saw the beggar begging again. Angry and confused, he asked why. The beggar explained about the theft. Feeling sorry, the rich man gave him a diamond ring and said, “This time, be careful.” The beggar hid the ring in an old mud pot at home, planning to sell it the next day. With the money, he hoped to buy a new, spacious house and start a good business to earn a living. That night, his wife took the pot to fetch water, not knowing the ring was inside. She washed the pot at the river, and the ...

The Morning That Changed Everything

In the peaceful hill town of Almora, there lived a cheerful man named Uncle Kabir. He had lost both his legs in a terrible accident many years ago. But every morning, Uncle Kabir would roll out in his wheelchair to the park near his house. He smiled at the birds, waved at the trees, and greeted every child going to school and every grown-up rushing to work. “Good morning! Have a great day!” he would say with a big smile. People loved seeing Uncle Kabir. His smile was like sunshine. Children would wave back, and even the busiest people would stop to smile and wish him well. It became a happy routine—no one wanted to start their day without seeing Uncle Kabir. Arjun lived in the same town, but joy never touched him. He worked long hours in a cold office, buried under loans and deadlines. His face stayed tense, his eyes dull. Life moved around him, but his own felt like a sea without waves—still, silent, and heavy. No tides of joy, no ripples of surprise. Just a flat, endless stretch of r...
