We are clueless what causes sleep but we can say it as state of rest where our body recovers from fatigue caused by the day's activities. Our body goes through various changes as we sink deeper into sleep. It is said that our brain slows down the thinking process, becomes calm, our muscles relaxes, heartbeat becomes slower, blood pressure and body temperature goes down and then we wake up fresh and energetic. The most mesmerizing part is that we actually don't remember anything what happened around us when we were asleep. The state of happiness, worry, anxiety, anger, fear, ego, boredom, pain, excitement etc nothing can be felt while sleeping. We are totally detached from this material world and relax in an unconscious state peacefully.
Sleep plays a vital role in improving our physical as well as mental health.
