Sometimes The Prettiest Smile Hide the Deepest Secrets.

Have you ever seen a duck! The beauty and calmness can be felt deeply while we see a duck on the surface of the pond. But beneath the water those feet are paddling and churning a mile vigorously. Don't you see a close similarity between this feature of duck and the emotional state of each and every human being from younger ones to older ones?
Somewhere we humans are fighting harshly within ourselves every second for something and struggling very hard to achieve something without letting the world know about it.
It's said that lips can lie but the eyes don't. Gone were those days when people used to know about one's state of mind by just looking at the eyes. Even if we had a big smile on our face we were asked by our loved ones. Come on, now stop acting and tell me what's wrong?
By just hearing this sentence the binded emotions within us bursts out like air gushing out from a pinned balloon and the pain and the anguish pours out from the heart like an volcanic eruption. Sometimes we just want to be heard by someone and we want someone to help us out simply by their presence and we need that strong support and desperately need time from that someone to deal with our struggle to feel assured, light and peaceful during hard times.
But now at present, not only the filmstars, we each one of us have mastered the skill of acting that we make sure to look without a hitch, peaceful like a duck on the surface of the water and much to our astonishment our so called near and dear ones have no time to look beneath us. The world is deprived of true love and care. When we talk about love and care it reminds us of our family, friends and relatives.
One of the topmost position holder is family. We can't deny the fact that a society, a nation can get a worthy and valuable citizen only if a person emerges from a mesmerizing, lovingly nurtured family. Family is the root.
In this fastly moving world, everything has become fast.
People are running behing something leaving behing their loved ones, the young ones, the old ones saying they have no time for anyone. The feeling of loneliness piles up in life which forms a strong root that emerges out as a big tree of stress, depression, illness, suicide, sometimes resulting up in opening up with the wrong ones emotionally and destroying ourselves by leading destructive lifestyle.
We talk about poverty i.e financial poverty, but right here in our own home, the neglect of love has brought about poverty. Maybe in our own family we have somebody who is feeling lonely, who is feeling sick, who is feeling worried and we don't even know or we don't want to know as we are all very busy with our own life.
Nowadays there is so much hatred, so much misery, so much suffering within our family. I keep wondering as with the passage of time the big happy joint families became the poorest and we named that poverty as nuclear family. Please remember love begins at home, let's put our effort and time there and then rest all will be better around us. I would like to share a beautiful story which explains how love and care can set everything right in a person's life-
Once in a village, a woman saw three old man sitting outside her house. They were sitting there for quiet a while. Woman went outside and said, "I saw that you are sitting here for long, you must be hungry, please come in and have something to eat,"
They replied, "We do not go inside a house together,"
Woman questioned, "Why?"
Then one of those old man explained pointing to one of his friends - His name is wealth if he goes with you, your home will be filled with wealth always. Then pointing to another old man he said- He is success if he goes with you, then you will always be successful in any endeavor you start. He introduced himself as Love, if I go with you then your home will be filled with love always.
Then he said, "Now, you go in and discuss with your family members and decide which one of us you want in your home."
Woman went inside and told his family members about what that old man said. Her husband was overjoyed to listen about it and said-
"Let's invite wealth, let him come and fill our home with wealth."
Wife disagreed and said-
"No, why don't we invite success?"
Their daughter-in-law listening to this, she came to them and suggested -
"Wouldn't it be better if we invite love in our home, then our home will be filled with love forever."
Husband and wife agreed to her advice.
Woman again went out and said, "Which one of you is love? Please come in and be our guest."
Love got up and started walking towards the house. Just then other two also got up and started following him.
Woman asked, "you said that not all can come together. I invited only love, why are you coming in?" Old men replied, "if you had invited wealth or success then other two might have stayed outside but since you invite Love, wherever he goes, we go with him."
-Wherever there is Love, Wealth and Success will follow.
This story reminds me of a dialogue from an iconic movie "Deewar" which exquisitely describes the importance of love where the good cop (role played by Shashi Kapoor) confronts his crooked brother (role played by Amitabh Bachchan) exchanged the dialogues like -
-Amitabh Bachchan: "Aaj mere pas building hai, property hai, bank balance hai, bangla hai, gaadi hai, kya hai......kya hai tumhaare paas?"
To which "Shashi Kapoor replied which was really breathtaking - "Mere paas maa hai."
And every mother shows what unconditional love can be. All a person needs is unconditional love and it endures all things and lasts forever.
The most beautiful thing in the world cannot be seen or heard it should be felt from our heart. Show your care through doing what makes them feel cared for. You can give quality time, acts of service, words of affirmation, help in times of need, be true to self and others etc whatever it is, perform so that they feel connected.

Thank you all for showing your support.

Restless Nights: The Lessons of Success and Failure

The Night of the Big Race Guhan had trained harder than ever for the annual school race. He was determined to win. But as he dashed toward the finish line, disaster struck—he tripped! His friend Manohar zoomed past him and won the race. That night, Guhan lay awake in bed, his heart heavy with disappointment. He kept thinking about the moment he fell, wondering if he could have done something differently. Sleep refused to come. But instead of giving up, Guhan decided to train even harder. He woke up the next morning with a new determination—he would try again next year. The following year, Guhan practiced tirelessly. When race day arrived, he ran like the wind, and this time, he didn’t stumble. He crossed the finish line first! That night, Guhan lay in bed, once again unable to sleep—but this time, it wasn’t sadness that kept him awake. It was pure excitement! He kept replaying the moment of victory in his head, imagining the gold medal around his neck. And now, he realized— He couldn...

A Coin of Compassion, A River of Blessings.

Once in a village, there lived a rich man who was kind and spiritual. One day, while walking on the road, he saw a beggar and felt sad. He asked God, “Why is life so unfair? Why must people suffer like this?” Feeling pity, the rich man gave the beggar his gold chain and bracelet and said, “Don’t beg again. Use this to start a better life.” The beggar was happy and planned to sell the gold and begin a small business. But on the way, two thieves stole the gold and ran away. The next day, the rich man saw the beggar begging again. Angry and confused, he asked why. The beggar explained about the theft. Feeling sorry, the rich man gave him a diamond ring and said, “This time, be careful.” The beggar hid the ring in an old mud pot at home, planning to sell it the next day. With the money, he hoped to buy a new, spacious house and start a good business to earn a living. That night, his wife took the pot to fetch water, not knowing the ring was inside. She washed the pot at the river, and the ...

The Morning That Changed Everything

In the peaceful hill town of Almora, there lived a cheerful man named Uncle Kabir. He had lost both his legs in a terrible accident many years ago. But every morning, Uncle Kabir would roll out in his wheelchair to the park near his house. He smiled at the birds, waved at the trees, and greeted every child going to school and every grown-up rushing to work. “Good morning! Have a great day!” he would say with a big smile. People loved seeing Uncle Kabir. His smile was like sunshine. Children would wave back, and even the busiest people would stop to smile and wish him well. It became a happy routine—no one wanted to start their day without seeing Uncle Kabir. Arjun lived in the same town, but joy never touched him. He worked long hours in a cold office, buried under loans and deadlines. His face stayed tense, his eyes dull. Life moved around him, but his own felt like a sea without waves—still, silent, and heavy. No tides of joy, no ripples of surprise. Just a flat, endless stretch of r...
