In our society,we can find three categories of people living around us - The Rich, the Poor and the Middle class.
We can see rich people with good established life, still working to earn more with no time for friends, family and self. And the most important thing i.e. the advanced technologies and luxuries surrounding them which creates an illusion into their mind that they are leading a perfect life.
Next category-The poor ones, working really hard day and night, still earning less, strugling to fulfill even the basic necessities of their family members.
Now comes the most funniest category, the middle class ones.
Let me explain their life. Middle class people are the ones who has to walk on a string that is tied up high on two pillars by holding a stick in their hands and an earthen pot on their head trying to reach the end of the string loaded with fear and trying to balance themselves along with the objects.
Can you see the frustration level in all these three categories?
The rich has to struggle to maintain their high standard luxurious life, the poor has to struggle to remain alive and the middle class has to struggle to balance their life. Struggle is never ending in one's life but one can reduce the streas and frustration level from their life by following only one wonderful mantra - SIMPLICITY.
Simplicity is a great virtue one can observe in life. It is the state of being simple in each walk of life. Life is very complicated but not for those who are trying to lead a simple life. We can learn simplicity from our mother nature. Nature has a great simplicity and therefore a great beauty. Nature with its simplicity calms down and passes a positive energy to whoever approaches it. Never pile up things into your life. Let go of all the unnecessary material desires and bring simplicity into your life so that necessary may speak up.
Day by day we are getting corrupted to achieve the materialism in life. May be we are achieving all comforts of our life but slowly we are forgetting the basic human values, the real beauty and harmony of our life.
We are rightly advised by the wise elders to believe in simple living and high thinking. Let's observe simplicity in our speech and manners. Also lets try to keep our life honest, simple and straightforward. We need not run after fashions, need not spend more than our means, also try to keep our thoughts simple and then see the power of simplicity making wonders in our life.
Simplicity well explained in this story..
One day a rich dad took his son on a trip to a village.
He wanted to show him how poor someone can be and how rich and blessed they are with so much money, comfort, luxuries and technology.
On their return from the trip the father asked his son- "How was the trip?"
Son replied- "It was great dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yes..!!" said the son
"So tell me what did you learn from the trip?" Asked the father
The son answered: "we have one dog, they have four.
We have a pool, they have rivers.
We have tubelights at night, they have stars and moon.
We buy foods, they grow theirs.
We have walls to protect us, they have friends.
We have television, mobile and laptop, they spend time with family, friends and relatives.
They live a very simple life but they are the richest people and Thanks dad, for showing me how poor we are."
The boy's father became speechless.
Moral- It is not about money that make us rich, its simplicity, love, values, family & friendship that make us rich, wise, peaceful, content and a happy person.
