We are all aware that the start of a new year is signalled by the passing of the previous year on December 31 at precisely midnight and the start of the new year on January 1. And every year we all celebrate this day with great enthusiasm.
Have we ever paid attention to the wonderful message that is being conveyed to us by this?
This imparts the most crucial life lesson -
That Everything has an End and Every end results in a New beginning.
Which is something we all need to thoroughly internalise.
We will occasionally laugh and occasionally cry while thinking about the previous year, but whether we succeeded or failed, we should always learn from our mistakes and continue to have hope for the future. Say this to yourself both during happy and sorrowful moments. Both situations are covered by this rule. The wise remark that will alter the way you view eternal life:
Nothing lasts forever; this too will pass.
Life is a journey. Throughout this stage of life, we shall be accompanied by a number of people. They will arrive and leave as it's destined to be.
You will have opportunities each year to occasionally encounter strange individuals or settings, which will fundamentally alter your perspective on life for the rest of your days.
Over the course of life all these distinctive events will remain in memory, reminding us that although life is full of uncertainties, there is always a way to overcome them and live life to the fullest potential.
The only thing that is permanent in this world is change. As a result, we must always be willing to accept and modify ourself as needed to adapt to our environment. Change is always beautiful.
Love everything around you, including the dawn, sunset, birds, animals, plants, and the people you see around you. Everything is worthy of being loved as all are the masterpiece of the Almighty.
When you are alone, enjoy the silence. There are so many wonderful things all around you. Don't just limit your love to one or two person
A beautiful quote by T.S.Eliot's Hollow Men -
Between the conception
And the creation
Between the emotion
And the response
Falls the Shadow.
Happy New Year :)
